I use a portion of the funds received from purchasing teaching resources through the Teachers Pay Teachers links on this site as well as fees from school workshops to support students and families in Nicaragua and Haiti.

I have received so much more from the people in the community than I could ever give to them. I bring materials to the school with me, but the teachers say it is best to bring money and buy supplies in Nicaragua because it puts money into the economy and helps the small businesses. The best way to help me to provide these materials is to purchase teaching materials through my TPT page. Hello,
I appreciate your interest, but unfortunately the families and students in the area of la Concha, Nicaragua have limited access to water and no electricity for the most part. This, in turn, means that there are no computers or anywhere to plug them in. It is a challenge to get mail delivered as well. This is the reason that I have chosen to work in and support this school.
